This fan is a perfect fit for a large room with either a rustic or industrial design. I've tried many fans for my large living room, and with other fans I can never feel the breeze unless I'm almost directly under the fan. This fan solved my problem. I can feel the breeze far from the fan, and I don't even need to use the higher speeds.Another wonderful feature is how quiet the fan is. Normally when I mention that a fan is quiet, I'm referring only to mechanical noise. Somehow this fan moves the air quietly too. As a result your ears would swear that there is no fan running in the room too.To control this wonderfully quiet air mover you have multiple options. DICIMALL provides a simple, sturdy, responsive, and compact remote. For those who hate remotes, you can also control the fan with the "smart life" app through your phone/tablet. This is a wonderful feature since you know you will always have your phone on you especially when you are already on the couch and you don't want to get up to get the remote. The sleep function on the fan is also awesome, but all of the possible sleep/timer options are only available on the app.A side note for people installing it themselves, the wiring is so easy and you will quickly realize how everything is made of high quality materials. I love how almost all the wires are connected by two plug in connectors. All you need are three wire nuts (which are included with the fan). I've installed some big box store fans before and had to use around 7-9 wire nuts which are not easy to stuff into an electrical box. Beyond the electrical, everything feels very durable from the wood blades (most big box store fans tend to not have wood blades) to the heavy duty components (good quality metal, higher than normal quality screws, actual wood blades).One tip for people who haven't installed many fans, snake the antenna for the receiver down the center hole (right outside the down rod - see picture). This will guarantee amazing reception for the remote/receiver regardless of which direction you are standing in relation to the fan.In short, if you want a beautiful/silent fan for a large room, you will love this fan! Stop thinking about it and just buy it. You will thank me.
I can’t rave enough about this fan!!!! The quality of the fan is obvious just upon opening the box! Blades are solid wood and beautiful! Was supplied extra parts-huge plus if you ask me! Simple and clear instructions made for a quick assembly and install. The remote is even cool, with 3 different light shade settings and 6 speeds for fan-plus hourly settings. Great buy and would highly recommend!!!
